Certified Public Accountant
We are seeking a skilled Certified Public Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tax preparation, ensuring compliance with regulations. We are looking for both our locations (Columbia MO & Moberly MO). Duties:
- Conduct tax preparations, payroll, audits, prepare financial statements, and provide financial advice
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
- Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams to support financial decision-making
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance; Current CPA certification required
- Proficiency in Accrual Accounting and Cash Flow Analysis
- Knowledge of Wills Trusts Estate Law, LIHTC, Securities Law, and SOX
- Experience with Thomson Reuters, Drake, Quickbooks, similar accounting software
- Strong Financial Acumen and attention to detail

Job Description:
· Preparation of various types of tax returns
· Assist with auditing engagements
· Assist with payroll, prepare financial statements
· Provide financial advise
· Consult with clients
Requirements:
· Have obtained a C.P.A. license
· Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and with minimum supervision
· Must have experience in public accounting
· Must be well organized and able to pay close attention to detail
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
· Stay updated on industry regulations & best practices
